I have tried CHI, FHI and this one and this by far was the best for the money and for all other features. I have curly long hair and let my hair dry naturally. I then used the Babyliss. I cant say enough, my arm was not tired, it straightened my hair so much faster and no tugging or pulling. It is worth every penny plus it comes with a 4 year warranty.

I was apprehensive about trying this straightener, especially after using the CHI. But the BayBliss is definitely the best straightner on the market. I have very curly hair that can get frizzy pretty quickly. When I used to go to some salons they were afraid to use high heat because they didn’t think my hair could take it. Then I found out about the Dominicans and Ethiopians, who straightened my hair for very cheap. But I don’t have the time to wait 3-4+ hours on a weekly basis to get my hair done. So on a whim I visited this beauty supply shop and say this flat iron. The sales person even said he’d give me a full refund if it didn’t work as expected.
Now I can blow dry and straighten my hair in about 45 minutes tops. It’s the best product out there and keeps my hair straight, regardless of how humid it may get.

Sorry hit button too soon on last review. With Chi, used highest setting, but with this must back it off to only second setting of 4. Gets VERY hot. Must recondition hair and watch moisture level, never iron damp hair with this iron, WILL BURN it off. Used with caution, is a great iron, just know your hair’s limits.

I’ve tried several brands, including cheap Revlons and the Chi and none of these straighteners left my hair as pretty as this one. It not only leaves my hair shiny and very smooth but it also makes it extremely resistant to humidity! Mere humidity in the air is enough to make my hair frizzy and big, but not after straightening with this Babyliss! It stays straight and shiny no matter what. I also take less time straightening my hair because the plates are long enough that I can straighten wider chunks of hair at a time. Also, the adjustable temperature is extremely convenient for those of us that have super thick hair.
I brought it home to show my mom and sister, and now they want to keep it and have me buy another one for myself!! That’s how awesome it is!

i like it. gives me a salon finish without the salon price. hair is a womans glory, so if you want to look good, then take care of your hair. this product is wonderful, i am so happy i was approached at the mall about it. my hair is thick and looks dull, but with this it has an amazing shine, it’s bouncy and turns heads. I bought this for real cheap at a Boston Beauty, and it’s great. Don’t ever buy a CVS hair straightener, the money put towards this was worth ever dime. It makes your hair straight in one try, and doesn’t pull, and gets so hot. My friend has bright red kinky kinky kinky curley thick hair and it took me a half hour to do it where regularly it takes an easy 2. It makes it shiny and flowy too. GREAT product, A.

My mom got this straightener for me. She wuz goin 2 get a CHI but the lady at the salon reccomended this 1 over the CHI. She also got it 4 a discount. I have very curly, coarse, and extremely thick hair, and this straightener does the trick in tops 45 minutes. i love how it gives my hair a shiny, smooth finish 2 it, and it doesnt cause split ends or frizziness. I dont even blow it dry before and i just let my hair air dry curly before i straighten it and it still works like magic. Many of my friends have told me that straightening my hair can damage it, so i would reccomend getting a condiotining mask to use on your hair once every week just to give the moisture back to your hair. Also, using a heat protectant spraay will greatly reduce the risk of damaged hair. i love this straightener and would reccomend it 2 any1 no matter what type of hair u have. I use the highest heat setting and it still works fine i luv it and it wuz worth every penny.

I love this straightener.. and so does my daughter. We have to fight over using it. I am currently look to purchase a second one! The only “con” is that it doesn’t have an automatic shut-off. This iron gets HOT — even if you use it on the lower settings. It burnt my bathroom counter.

Just got the Babyliss Pro Flat Iron yesterday and couldn’t wait to use it. I have very thick hair, curly hair, which frizzess at any contact with humidity(type 4A). My beautician recommended titanium heat for my hair becsause the FHI flat irons i had just wasn’t doing the trick any more. Now i have salon like results. Also it burned a \/ shaped mark into my counter in only 2 minutes… It will only straighten, long hair only, and doesnt do other styles. a bit disappointed for the price!

I was terrified to buy this. I’ve had 3 straightners in the course of this last year, the CHI being my most recent, which broke (just stopped turning on). I was scared because the plates aren’t ceramic, so I thought they’d pull and drag or just sizzle my hair right off like the old fashioned straighteners used to do. I picked it up tonight and what normally takes me about 55 minutes to do I did in 15! the plates are wide and long and heat really hot and evenly so that made the whole process easier! (I could do more hair at once without having to go over it a second time) My hair is so smooth and shiny and soft I can’t stop touching it..Normally with my CHI it was soft, but not sleek like this and it tangled easy and went fuzzy. This looks like my hair is naturally straight and fine - I love it. So as far as my first use I’d highly recommend this product…a little pricier but worth it if you want the best results

Ive been dying to get this iron fkor the longest. xxxxxxxxx had a sale buy one get one free and i hoped on it. I called a coworker who does hair too to see if she needed a new irom to go half on it with me: she said yes. I used it the same day on my niece who has a mixed texture of hair. It glides through the hair so easy, straighten with one glide, didnt pull, and left it so shiny. Im in Miami fl so I have to see how the humidity works on her hair.
Advice: Please flat iron on clean hair thats not loaded with products you just might get an odor. If you flat iron more then twice a week your hair will start burning off and falling out so dont get too happy with it. Do not rap the cord around the iron it will cause a shortage and “burn out”: Dont drop it. Last, follow the instructions on the temperature settings. Most people just throw that important book away that comes with appliances. 5 stars
1-10 fine hair, fragile
11-20 thin easy to straighten
21-30 normal
31-40 wavy
41-50 is 400 to 450 degrees this is the highest for course thick hair and is not for everyone.

I have used this iron for two months and it has totally fried my hair. My other iron (an ion) conditioned my hair and it finally stopped working after 9 years. It was a great iron but this Babyliss Pro is not. I do not recommend it to anyone. Your hair looks so awful after 2-3 times of use. Conair will not replace it either. It was very expensive and I thought it was a good investment. NOT!!

I Have tried every straightener out there, and this is by far the best I have ever used! I have VERY long, naturally curly, bleached hair and this iron works fast and makes my hair look & feel healthy. I love that I only have to swipe my hair once! Also I would not use on the highest setting ever, and I also use thermal protection on my hair, and that helps too! But from someone who has wasted tons of money on a couple dozen straighteners(chi, coriolles, sedu, t3,etc) this one is by far my favorite!!

I’ve had this for about 5 months. I’ve used others before, including the CHI. I bought mine on sale on Amazon for $75 and now I’m looking for another one for my sister. Almost everyone I know have the CHI — it’s highly overated and overpriced and it pulls on your hair. My friend that’s a stylist has one and recommended it to me. This one is the best b/c: it’s smooth and it doesn’t pull on your hair, quick (it takes me less than 10 min), has different heat settings ( I usually use the 375 and 400), straighten but does not make your hair look flat, and last but not least it’s blue (my fav color). No damage (dry, split-ends) are apparent, but I just recently started using a heat defense spray immediately before I blow dry AND straighten to better protect my hair. One drawback: no auto shut off and it does get very hot. I’ve burnt myself before so use with caution, as you would with everything else. However, I did forget to turn it off once, so I basically left it on for 8+ hours, and it DID NOT burn my counter (please do not try this at home). AMAZING!!!

i just got this straightener for christmas.i havent tryed it yet bbut by the looks of it i have a good feeling about this one. my old straightener was a very cheap and horrible wet to dry straightener from rite aid.i dont even know why i bought one there in the first place. alot of people r saying this straightener is great but then ppl r also saying it burns their hair.honestly i think ppl r putting it on a too high of a setting.this is a very hot straightener and if u use it to much and put it on to high, it will definatly damage ur hair alot.as with any straightener, use it wisely.

I have had a Chi straightner because i heard they get your straight shiny and smooth. I recently left my Chi on the floor and stepped on it & the screw popped out. I did that to mine then I got my moms and did that to hers. She bought her another one and taped mine together because it still works but with no screw. so the beautician recommended a BaByliss Titanium straightner i have not yet tried it. because if i do then i may not be able to return it because it would be used. so i think i have already tried it that burnt smell is true they straightned my hair with that and it smelt burned and looked burned like african hair lol. i think chis are good they dont get as hot as babykiss and everyine has them and i hear that this babyliss burns your hair and not to recommend it so idk if ishould try it or a chi?

Just bought this today and it is absolutely, without a doubt the BEST flat iron I have ever used!!! Doesn’t snag my hair like the rest did (and I had some expensive ones…all ceramic though). It basically took my wavy/lumpy/bleached hair and in 10 minutes turned my locks into Jennifer Aniston hair! Normally it took me 20-25 minutes & nowhere near the same results. Yay! Got it at Ulta for $130.

I called a coworker who does hair too to see if she needed a new irom to go half on it with me: she said yes. I used it the same day on my niece who has a mixed texture of hair. It glides through the hair so easy, straighten with one glide, didnt pull, and left it so shiny. Im in Miami fl so I have to see how the humidity works on her hair.
Advice: Please flat iron on clean hair thats not loaded with products you just might get an odor. If you flat iron more then twice a week your hair will start burning off and falling out so dont get too happy with it. Do not rap the cord around the iron it will cause a shortage and “burn out”: Dont drop it. Last, follow the instructions on the temperature settings. Most people just throw that important book away that comes with appliances. 5 stars

11-20 thin easy to straighten
21-30 normal
31-40 wavy
41-50 is 400 to 450 degrees this is the highest for course thick hair and is not for everyone.

It’s my third hair iron this year. I wish the overall quality of hair irons would improve. They seem built to break down. But this one has been doing the trick for over four months now. Plus I travel with work and it handles the travel well.

my mom has this iron and i am constantly borrowing it. I have the ghd iron which I thought was 1 of the best…its not this is by far the best. I was hesitant because it was not ceramic but its even better. my hair has stopped breaking off.

I have used this iron for two months and it has totally fried my hair. My other iron (an ion) conditioned my hair and it finally stopped working after 9 years. It was a great iron but this Babyliss Pro is not. I do not recommend it to anyone. Your hair looks so awful after 2-3 times of use. Conair will not replace it either. It was very expensive and I thought it was a good investment. NOT!!

I Have tried every straightener out there, and this is by far the best I have ever used! I have VERY long, naturally curly, bleached hair and this iron works fast and makes my hair look & feel healthy. I love that I only have to swipe my hair once! Also I would not use on the highest setting ever, and I also use thermal protection on my hair, and that helps too! But from someone who has wasted tons of money on a couple dozen straighteners(chi, coriolles, sedu, t3,etc) this one is by far my favorite!!

I’ve had this for about 5 months. I’ve used others before, including the CHI. I bought mine on sale on Amazon for $75 and now I’m looking for another one for my sister. Almost everyone I know have the CHI — it’s highly overated and overpriced and it pulls on your hair. My friend that’s a stylist has one and recommended it to me. This one is the best b/c: it’s smooth and it doesn’t pull on your hair, quick (it takes me less than 10 min), has different heat settings ( I usually use the 375 and 400), straighten but does not make your hair look flat, and last but not least it’s blue (my fav color). No damage (dry, split-ends) are apparent, but I just recently started using a heat defense spray immediately before I blow dry AND straighten to better protect my hair. One drawback: no auto shut off and it does get very hot. I’ve burnt myself before so use with caution, as you would with everything else. However, I did forget to turn it off once, so I basically left it on for 8+ hours, and it DID NOT burn my counter (please do not try this at home). AMAZING!!!

i just got this straightener for christmas.i havent tryed it yet bbut by the looks of it i have a good feeling about this one. my old straightener was a very cheap and horrible wet to dry straightener from rite aid.i dont even know why i bought one there in the first place. alot of people r saying this straightener is great but then ppl r also saying it burns their hair.honestly i think ppl r putting it on a too high of a setting.this is a very hot straightener and if u use it to much and put it on to high, it will definatly damage ur hair alot.as with any straightener, use it wisely.

I have had a Chi straightner because i heard they get your straight shiny and smooth. I recently left my Chi on the floor and stepped on it & the screw popped out. I did that to mine then I got my moms and did that to hers. She bought her another one and taped mine together because it still works but with no screw. so the beautician recommended a BaByliss Titanium straightner i have not yet tried it. because if i do then i may not be able to return it because it would be used. so i think i have already tried it that burnt smell is true they straightned my hair with that and it smelt burned and looked burned like african hair lol. i think chis are good they dont get as hot as babykiss and everyine has them and i hear that this babyliss burns your hair and not to recommend it so idk if ishould try it or a chi?

I have this straightener and i hate it. They say it’s suppose to “better for your hair”? mhum okay… NO! it kills my hair, make it rough, hard, and tons of dead ends!!! i prefer the CHI.

Hi i was told to buy a babyliss because they were professional but i got one and im pretty disapointed… it dosent have flexable plates and leaves my hair with lines and creases…
my hair dresser offered me the KADORI hair straightener and its AMAZING!!! the plates flex so it glides through the hair softly and now i dont have to worry about lines in my hair… its so much funner to do hair when the results are this amazing!!! check them out xxxxxxxxxxxx

Just bought this today and it is absolutely, without a doubt the BEST flat iron I have ever used!!! Doesn’t snag my hair like the rest did (and I had some expensive ones…all ceramic though). It basically took my wavy/lumpy/bleached hair and in 10 minutes turned my locks into Jennifer Aniston hair! Normally it took me 20-25 minutes & nowhere near the same results. Yay! Got it at Ulta for $130.
