This is by far the BEST hair straightener I have ever used. I have tried much more expensive straighteners like professional; CHI and GHD flat irons, but this Babyliss straightener is WAY better! It straightened my difficult (naturally super curly) shoulder-length hair in about 15-20 minutes. I was shocked at how well it works!

We just received this iron 2 days ago, and I am a little upset with it already. First, the plates only meet together at the top of the iron. When you straighten, you have to push the plates together to get thinner parts of the hair straight. The top part of the iron (little black part) pulls your hair out. Then you have to stop to keep getting the hair out of the iron. The outside gets very hot, so it’s hard to go around your ears, etc. However, it does seem to straighten pretty good. Sometimes in only one pass. I am still debating on whether or not I will be keeping it.

This is hands down the BEST straightener I have ever owned and I’ve had a lot of straighteners in my day. The only thing that I’ve found wrong with this is that the outside gets really hot if you turn the heat up high, but most straighteners have problems with that. I would recommend to anyone with hard to straighten hair, as mine is.

I have had this iron for at least 9 mths, it straightens the hair perfectly straight! It makes it shiny also and I have extremly curly hair. I also have a chi and this is far better than that. I would recommend this iron to anyone with very curly hair.
