Review by Angela
This flat iron is ‘alright’ but i’m not crazy about how the plates don’t meet and don’t even move around (like all other pro models).. It sometimes pulls my hair, but if done carefully it doesn’t pull as bad and straightens pretty well. I am not crazy about where the nob is located to adjust the heat. It is kinda hard to reach. Other than that, its good.

This straightener is supposed to have a lifetime warranty, which is what convinced me to buy it. The thing is you either have to ship it in to get it replaced, which leaves you without a straightener for a week or more or you have to take it back to where you bought it. The thing is that where you bought it might not be there when you need to return it. :-{ Overall, I am not impressed with this straightener. It rips my hair out and the plates break very easily. It gets hot enough and straightens well, but with all other straighteners on the market you can find a better one that is just as affordable.

I really liked this straightner, and got it on sale, but it didn’t last for long. After about a year (and I didn’t use it everyday) it just stopped heating up like it used to.
Review by Sher
I’ve used this one for quite some times. It isn’t that great, its just alright. Its works exactly like the otehr straighters in its price range.
Review by Felica
Have used this straightener for two years and would not buy another one. It straightens well but it pulls my hair. It is also now showing wear on the ceramic plates.
Review by Diana
I hardly ever use this straighner (like once a week) compared to others I had in the past because it burns my hair off so badly. If I turn the heat down, it doesn’t straighten my hair. When it is turned up, I find it doesn’t do a really great job and my hair just seems a little frizzy. I had a $50 straightener before that did just as good of a job. This one was $200! Just really not worth the money to lose the amount of hair I am losing and it still isn’t doing the job when I can get a cheaper one to do the same thing!

I got this at the mall after my old straightener (a jilbere) was snagging my hair too much. I was not very pleased as it dries out my hair and causes a ton of split ends. Not so great for the price it cost.

I bought my Corioliss back at the end of September and let me tell you I was more then please with it. Loved how my hair looked, got complements all the time. My best friend even said something about my hair; I have hair like Gilda Radner when she plays “Roseanne Rosansdana”, and for those who have never herd of her, she was huge on SNL, Completely out of control. However as I was saying I was completely in love with this iron. Now here we are at the end of the year rolling in to January. So what’s that (3) months? And my plates are cracking and splitting. I took care of this iron incredibly just because they were Ceramic and I know how ceramic brakes easily. So this was not any fault of mine. Now I have been trying to get a hold of someone to get a replacement, not money and all I keep getting is the run around. My advice to you is when you see anything with the Corioliss name! Just keep walking!! It’s not worth it. They take your money and when it comes to standing behind there guarantee forget about it, they have never herd of anything so insulting. Do your homework and get the right iron from people who represent their product with horror and stay clear of Corioliss.

My boyfriend bought this straightener for me a couple of years ago, and I love it! It is made in Israel and he knows that I have a love for Israel. Their products are cool!
Review by Vicki
Great straightener! My boyfriend purchased it for me for Christmas. It was made in Israel and is a wonderful product.
Review by Shelby
This straightner is the worst thing I ever used. I loved it when I first bought it. It was the most expensive among the bunch, but seemed worth it.
After one year it began pulling my hair, the heating rods were inconsistent, but most concerning was that one day it sparked and generated a flame ! ! Fortunatley, it happend when I was holding it and not when it was by my hair. Otherwise I would be typing this message bald.
After flipping the switch on the fuse box to restore power in the house, I immeadiately went an returned the unit and they gave me a different brand.
My ratings….Ha ! Nuff said.

Ohh my gosh Shelby that is so bad.!
NO ONE BUY THIS STRAIGHTENER ITS THE BIGGEST RIPOFF EVER.!
Review by Erica
I would not recommend anyone to ever waste their money on such an unreliable product or company for that matter.
I had my corioliss for a little over three months before it finally stopped heating up completely. I hadn’t even used it but three or four times because everytime I did it pulled my hair so badly.
So it’s supposed to have a lifetime warranty, right…WRONG!!!
I kept my original packaging as advised and sent it back to the manufacturer. It turns out that the lifetime warranty stands for the lifetime of the product. I got a letter signed by the president of the company somewhere overseas stating that the heating element being nonresponsive is not considered a manufacturers defect. They did apologize for the inconvenience…(yeah right!) and hoped that I my experience would not discourage me from purchasing another straightener.

ive had my corioliss pro hair straightner for four and a half years and is showing no signs of dieing!! still very hot! has handled a few drops! and straightens my hair beautifully!! it does grab the odd hair but thats the price you pay! I recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable straightner worth the $150 i paid four and a half years ago!!!

Yes forget the lifetime guarrantee. I was told there was one too, but, when my wet dry one’s plates came out (while using it!) for the second time, they told me yesterday that there was no guarrantee and I could pay a “special deal” for another one for $150. BTW this is on ebay for eighty something.
However I am happy with this product. Can’t live without a flat iron; won’t go out of the house without using one, etc. Best invention of the new Millenium. I started out with the pink one for over one hundred dollars (which was a whole lot better than the cheap Con Air I bought at Target), traded it in for the wet dry for $90 something. This first wet dry one’s plates fell out, they replaced this, but the second time just tried to extort another $150-enough! Won’t do anymore business with these loathesome mall people, with, ironically, bad hair.
Might as well buy it on ebay, since the craftsmanship is crappy anyhow, and apparently the guarrantee iw worthless and just another money making opportunity for them.

I loved how this straigtener worked on my hair. I could use it to curl mine super thick and my daughter’s super fine hair as well. I got ripped off at a mall kiosk at Christmas time, as far as price–ridiculous! I was happy with the performance, even though it made our hair smelled a little “off” after use which I wasn’t impressed with. However, I went through two of them in just a few months. The rubber between the plates melted. The first one we sent in, paid for return shipping and waited, and waited and waited, and finally got a replacement iron. The second one, we sent in only to have it be returned because they had moved. We opted to not to pay to ship it again, and pay for return shipping for a faulty product.

Got this produce at the mall, and was sad that is broke down after three months. Stoped heating up. went back and they refuned it.

I purchased this flat iron at a kiosk in the mall back in Nov. 2006 and have had and used this item on a daily basis. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. I’ve had thick/curly hair my entire life and have even tried having professional chemical straightening by Regis and nothing worked on my hair until the woman in the mall asked to try it on my hair. I said what the heck-go for it. I couldn’t believe my eyes-it worked. i bought and have loved ever since. My dog actually just got a hold of the cord and ate the plug off, so I had to order another online as the only kiosks I see now are the Jose Eber and I’m affraid to try something new. It’s like that saying if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Everyone’s opions are different, things work differently on different people. You just have to try it for yourself.

i have the classic model for about a year now and i’m using it at least 5 times a week (i’m using it every time i leave my house). they didnt tell me anything about a lifetime warrenty. they told me about a year warrenty for any manufactures deffect and i know by my friend’s experience that they stand behind their words and she got a new one in the place she bought the old one without having to wait. they tought me how to use it - it never pulled my hair, it never burnt it. my hair is much softer than it was before i started using it and it does last till i wash my hair again. my boyfriend’s touching my hair all the time becasue it’s really that nice now.. if you dont know how to use it, it’s one thing but it’s not right to say that the prudect is the one pulling your hair. it straightens and even curls my hair in the easiest way ever. and i had few other brands before. the price is high but i wouldnt expect soemthing so cool to be cheap just like i wont buy a cheap lotion.

I do some modeling and I am in a band, so lots of photoshoots and appearances. I’ve had this flat iron for about 4 or 5 years, and use it 1-3 times a day (touch-ups, etc). It always straightened my hair pretty well, and I have curly/wavy hair. Sometimes it would burn a little if left on the hair too long, but overall I was pretty happy with it.
I spent about $130 (Canadian) on it. They gave me a deal because my friend and I both got one.
Only recently, did one of the plates stop heating. It still straightens my hair, just not as well as it used to.
I’m probably going to be investing in a new iron with tourmaline, negative ions, and all that jazz.
Review by Ana M.Melendez
This flat iron is a rip off. This doesn’t work like it suppose to. So if you are looking for a flat iron to buy, this is not definitely your choice. It burns your hair, pulls it very hard. It’s not worth a cent. I lost my money on this.Worthless iron. Veryyyy negative feedback. Don’t buy it trust me.
Review by Margaret
This doesn’t work like it suppose to. Don’t waste your money on this product. Not good at all, breaks hair, pulls it, burns it, it doesn’t even straights it like it suppose to. Bad investment ever.

I HATED this straitener!! The plates made my hair get even more split ends, and it took a while for it to heat up. Also for the price i was not happy.I sold mine:) DO NOT GET IT, ITS NOT WORTH IT!

i broke this flat iron accidentally the other day and i hate myself for it. it is the best flat iron i have ever bought and it works magnificently. i used to have the same one as in the picture above but they dont sell it anymore.
i dont know which of the ones they have currently is the replacement for my old one and im afraid to buy one that wont work as well. my mom has a thinner golden corioliss but it doesnt work as well as this one. gosh, i miss my flat iron. i cant understand why theres so many negative reviews!
ive had mine since oct. 2007 and its been the best purchase of my life. nothing bad ever happened to it.
Review by Veronica
I had the same experience as Shelby!
I bought the straightener about a year ago. I was about to start straightening my hair when it all of a sudden sparked and a flame generated and sparks hit my shirt and my table! I had to put out the flame and restart my power. I would not buy this straightener again because of the spark and danger it put me in!
Review by Becca
My daughter and I saw this straightener at a Kiosk at the mall several years ago, and loved it. The price was just so high that I didn’t buy it right then. I went home, found it on the web and snagged it for less than half the price! We have both been using it for years with NO problems. It has been a super product for us. Now I’m thinking of purchasing a second one as we both use it frequently and need our own. I’m hoping I can find a wider one.
By the way . . . we also use it for curling. It makes great “boing” “boing” curls!
