I bought one of these at a kiosk in the mall a little over a year ago along with my best friend. It worked good for about 8-10 months but I slowly noticed it taking longer and longer to heat up and not staying hot. I would have to straighten one layer of my hair then wait for it to get hot again, do another layer, wait, etc.

My best friend’s broke about 6 months after she bought it. She called the company and they sent her another one free and its working okay so far but these irons definately aren’t worth the $150-$200 you pay for them. I have two other friends who bought Corioliss flat irons and both of their’s broke and they had to go to other malls to get new ones because the one in our mall went out of business. Don’t buy one of these!

Amazing! the corioliss is pretty amazing, it makes your hair really straight and shinny BUT the best time to use it is a few hours after washing your hair when there is still some ‘humidity’ in it(not wet). Its actually not that good of a straightner when used on ‘dry hair’.

i purchased a corioliss 3years ago at a mall in my area, i have enjoyed it much more then other flat irons i have used, the downfall of this item is that the warrenty is not long enough and i have recently noticed that it is taking a little longer to heat up, the place i bought it from is now iso and i am not ready to buy another flat iron for 150.00

This iron is pretty good compared to drugstore straighteners but for the price you’d be better off buying a drugstore one. There is no heat control so that was a minus & if you have thin or damaged hair that is not good. Had mine for over a year & a half so it has held out well. It has damaged my hair a lot but that could be because i use it about 3 times a week & have thin blonde highlighted hair(with heat protecting products of course)It does get hot so don’t leave unattended…i did & it left a burn mark on my fairly new dresser :o(

Pretty good…straightens but the other review is right, you’re hair has to be really dry. Also it doesnt damage my hair as much as others do.

I went shopping at Christmas and a saleswomen used this on my hair I was so pleased with the product I wanted to purchase one, then realized how expensive it was $ 180.00 and decided against it. Next morning went on ebay and bought the exact iron for $40.00. That was 3 years ago and have used it daily since then along with my 3 daughters it has been wonderful. I have purchased a few too many irons over the last few years before that and this by far works the best. My daughter just moved out and I gave the iron for her to take with her cause she loves it and she can’t do her hair with curling irons, this is the only thing she can use and its so easy for her. So guess what I bought another one today on ebay again and can’t wait for it to come I miss it nothing works to curl and straighten your hair like this does.

My husband bought me the “deluxe” model Pro-V, 1 1/4″ with the heat controls at a kiosk in the mall for Christmas. It came with 3 lessons on how to use the product. However, when I went back after Christmas to have the ladies show me how to use it, they were quick to tell me they were too busy and that they weren’t honoring the ‘lesson cards’ until after Jan. 4, 2010. They were real convincing and quick to sell the product but poor on customer service after you have bought one. There is no stipulation on the cards indicating a date and they never told my husband you can’t return it if your wife doesn’t like or want it. So now I’m ’stuck’ with an Expensive iron that may not be of used that much; especially for the money.

I purchased 2 corioliss flat itrons at a mall kiosk for $199.00 each. The one i purchased for my daughter qiut working altogether within 6 months. I followed return procedures including the receipt, THE $12.99 shipping fee and the defective flat iron. I received those instructions from the company. After several months went by I called them. You can only leave a message, then after several more weeks i got a call. She said she would look into it and I never heard back. I left another message, weeks went by and I got another call. She said she would look into it. I still do not have a replacement. Finally bought a cheaper brand and have given up on coriollis. Very poor cust service.
