I love love love this iron. If you have the money I highly recommend it. I have never had a pro flat iron before but this thing rocks. It comes with a DVD and everything. It only takes an hour to do my hair, which before took 2. I just like staring at it knowing i have a ghd!

I just bought the GHD MK4, and so far I think it’s the best flat iron I’ve ever used. I also have a Chi, Babyliss, and a Conair. The GHD doesn’t dry my hair like the Chi does. It leaves my hair silky, soft, and shiny, with minimal product. I have to use quite a bit of heat protectants with my Chi. All I use with the GHD is a bit of FHI hot sauce, and a light spritz of sedu or Chi 44. All in all, I’m very happy with the results I get with this iron.

Well all i can say is this is the kind os flat iron that is for girls with hair that is naturally straight. I’m a black women with that curly thick hair and my sister has that nappy hair. The only thing that was okay was the fact that it came with a instructionale DVD, the sad thing is the curls and waves and volume stuff worked better than the straight style. Also it gets complicated because if you move your the iron a little then you hair is not going to be straight morwe wavy looking. Save your money for $240.00 i thought this was gonna be the best it’s a wast.

i think GHD’s are the best………i have thick hair and they are the only ones that really work, i have used many other makes with loads of promises, but nothing like the ghd’s they leave your hair much less frizzy, and smoother than many others…
they a bit pricey, but well worth it, especially if you have long hair, they also never loose heat….. i would recommed them to everyone i know,and almost all my friends have them……and just love them…..also now with the new mk4 you can curl easier too so all round worth while product…….

My ghd was a gift from my sister and it has made all the difference. Smooths my otherwise wildly wavy red hair without frizzing or burning. It’s easy to use, takes very little time and then, it shuts itself off. Wish I could afford to given one to my mom who would love it.

I payed 300$ for a piece of crap that stopped working after I used less then 10 times! Not only did i waste my money, I damaged my hair. Took it back got it replaced after 3 long weeks and again, same thing…I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

I first learned of this flat iron from my hairdreser. It is the first iron I ever owned that heated up in literally 10 seconds. The heat is consistant and leaves my hair soft and very straight. I highly recommend it. I was a bit pricey but worth it. It is also great for making waves and curls.

Hello ladies could i please get assistance: I live in the United States and recently bought a GHD iron in London the cord is european 220volts and i want to use it when i go home the problem is in US we use 110volts can i plug in the 220 into a 110 plug or will it fry out ?

I have used ghd for more then 4 yrs. now. I love this iron. Glides through the hair and leaves the hair silky. I have blk relaxed hair and with the ghd if I get cought in a light shower it dosen’t bother me. My hair holds up. I thought the chi was rough and the hair didn’t shine. I loved this iron the very 1st time I tried it and I’ve been sold on it every since. If you drop them they will break. I just wish the company would repair them for a small fee of about $30.00 like RBI Distributors do for the
Salona Hair dryers that I have used for about 25 yrs.

I have very thick, curly hair. I used to have a CHI that I thought was pretty good but after purchasing a ghd i will never use another styler again. It curls, waves, or straightens and leave hair super soft and shiney. It also heats up in 30 seconds and has an automatic half hour shut off in case you leave it on. Well worth the money.

I went too my friends who had the GHDS and i went with my hair litterally like a poodle i have natturally stubborn curly hair aswell and she was like use them and i was like theres no way theyll straightenn this mess !! but she made me and within 10 mins my hair was unbelievabley straight smooth and shiny I love this product, however the price is a little bit high but thats what you pay for good quality :D.

Well, I have had GHD,s for the past 3 years, and they have brocken down 5 times in total. Every time I send them back it takes 2 weeks for them to repair them. Just recently I have sent them back and they said they can not repair them. They did however say that they would give me a discount on a new pair. Wait for this!!! They told me they cost £119.00, and they are happy to give them to me for £100.00 Lucky me (NOT). They are not worth the money, there customer service is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
